Szombathelyi Haladás

Haladás Szombathely ( German progress Szombathely ), also Haladás VSE (VSE = Vasutas Sport Egyesület, German Railway Sports Club ) is a Hungarian football club based in Szombathely, Szombathely ungar.

History

The club was founded in 1919. The club colors are green and white. The team called by fans often " Hali " carries out their home games at Rohonci úti stadium that holds around 10,000 spectators.

Haladás reached three times the Hungarian Cup Final in 1975, 1993 and 2002. Since the initial rise in the Nemzeti National Championship I, the first Hungarian Football League, 1936 Haladás could previously take part in more than 50 seasons there. Most recently, the club was relegated from there in 2004.

After the end of the second division season 2006/ 07 Haladás were deducted 8 points due to the use of unauthorized players, giving the club the first place in the table and thus the re-emergence were denied. BFC Siófok rose in his place. 2008/ 09 they reached the third place in the table of the Nemzeti National Championship I, which meant its best-ever performance in the championship. In the following year they took part in the qualifiers for UEFA Europa League.
