Szrenica

Seen frost carrier of the West

The Szrenica [ ʃrɛ'ɲitsa ] ( German Mature carrier, Czech Jínonoš ) is 1362 m with a striking elevation in the western part of the Giant Mountains and is one of the main ridge. Since the state border between Poland and the Czech Republic runs south of the main range at this point, the summit is on Polish territory. The summit is - as well as the peaks of many other mountains in the Giant Mountains - from the ruins of old granite rocks that form impressive screes. Be found on its slopes interesting rock formations, including the horses head stones ( Końskie LBY ) and rushes A ( Trzy Świnki ).
