Szymon Szewczyk

Szymon Szewczyk Pawel ( born December 21, 1982 in Szczecin ) is a Polish basketball player. Szewczyk moved in 2002 from his native country to the German Basketball Bundesliga to Brunswick. After the Milwaukee Bucks had the NBA rights to Szewczyk secured in the 2003 NBA Draft, he played two more years in the German BBL Alba Berlin. He then played by stations in Slovenia, Italy and Russia since 2009 in the Italian Serie A.

Career

In his second Premiership season 2000/ 01 in Poland Szewczyk could draw attention to themselves with good statistics that marked him according to its size not only as a good rebounder, but also as a good distance shooters with a three-point throw ratio of approximately 48%. In the following season 2001 /02 playing for the then second division of Starogard Gdański before he was obliged energy from Brunswick in the 2002/ 03 BBL season from German first division TXU.
