T-mount

The T2 adapter, sometimes called a T- ring is used mainly to small SLRs various accessories ( lenses, telescopes, microscope tubes, etc.) to install, which have a T2 connection.

T or T2 adapters are available for almost all common SLR cameras with removable lens. The exterior port corresponds to the lens bayonet or thread, the internal thread - T / T2 thread - has a diameter of 42 mm and a pitch of 0.75 mm. The main disadvantage of this versatility is the absence of the aperture transmission from the lens to the camera - full aperture measurements and aperture or automatic programs have T or T2 adapters not possible (but the use of the automatic mode).
