T-Pain
T -Pain ( born September 30, 1985 in Tallahassee, Florida, whose real name is Faheem Najm ) is an American rapper, R & B singer and record producer. The T in "T -Pain " stands for his hometown Tallahassee in Florida. T -Pain is also known by various pseudonyms such as Teddy Pain or Teddy Verseti. Characteristic of T -Pain are his top hats, his curious glasses and the auto-tune effect in his songs, which was by him very popular, so now use it also singers like Lady Gaga and Chris Brown.
Career
T -Pain was a member of the rap group Nappy Headz, which consisted of five members. However, he is best known for the adaptation of Akon's song Locked Up, whose title was a regional radio hit. Akon heard of the song and took T -Pain to his label " Konvict Music" under contract. In 2002 he founded his own label " Nappy Boy Entertainment ."
His first single I'm Sprung came into the American charts in August 2005. Rappa Ternt Sanga 's first album followed in November 2005. The second single release I'm n Luv ( Wit a Stripper ) was published in January 2006 and debuted at # 5 on the American Billboard charts. On the album he worked with, among others with Mike Jones, Youngbloodz, Styles P and Trick Daddy.
Beginning of 2007, he released his album Epiphany. The lead single Buy U a Drank featuring Yung Joc was in the summer, a week on the first place on the Billboard charts. He was also represented in the summer along with the rapper Plies Shawty with on the Billboard charts. His reputation grew, in particular the end of 2007, when he got worldwide attention through features with Kanye West ( Good Life ), Baby Bash ( Cyclone ), Flo Rida (Low), and Chris Brown ( Kiss Kiss ).
2008 received T -Pain as a songwriter together with Aldrin Davis and Kanye West Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for the song Good Life, which is performed by Kanye West. On August 23, 2008 came out T- Pain's second mixtape PR33 Ringz. He also raps almost exclusively in this mixtape. On 11 November 2008 his third album Thr33 Ringz was released in the U.S.. On the album songs with Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled are found. The first single Can not Believe It was released in July 2008. He was also heard as guest musicians on the single release of The Boss Rick Ross Trilla album.
In March 2010, the cartoon Freaknik was in the Cartoon Network: The Musical aired. In the one-hour film music T -Pain said the main role of Freaknik and has contributed five songs to the soundtrack. In addition, numerous other hip hop artists such as Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross and Kelis are involved.
In December 2011 came out T -Pain 's fourth album Revolver. It gets cameos from Lil Wayne, Detail, Chuckie, Pitbull, Lily Allen, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, One Chance, Ne- Yo, R. Kelly, Bei Maejor and e- 40th
