T-Slam

T- Slam (Hebrew תיסלם ) is an Israeli rock band

Band History

T- Slam originally started in 1978 under the collaboration between the singer Danni Bassan, the guitarist Izhar Ashdod and drummer Yair Nitzani. When in 1981 the guitarist Yoshi Sadeh was added, and the first song with radio Hazak recorded their first album with Tnu Li Rokenrol. 1982 came Sami Avzardel and Tsoof Philosof the band, and with Tislam2 the second album was recorded. After another year, after the release of their third album, LeAsfanim Bilvad, announced after a performance on October 23, 1983 in Beersheba, that the band would part.

After the separation of all six members pursued a solo career. So the lead singer Danni Bassan released three solo albums. Tsoof Philosof was a studio musician and played in several bands. Yoshi Sadeh spent several years in the U.S. and Sammy Avzardel formed his own band. Yair Nitzani and Izhar Ashdod were music producers. In 1990, the band around with Nagnu Achshav and two other new songs gathered to make a comeback tour. Since then graduated T- Slam sporadic appearances, including in 1994 at the opening of the Hard Rock Cafe in Tel Aviv and another comeback tour, which resulted from an isolated appearance in Tel Aviv Barbi Club.
