T. C. Narendran

TC Narendran ( Thekke Curuppathe Narendran, born February 24, 1944 in Trichur, British India, † 31 December 2013 ) was an Indian biologist.

Life

He was professor of zoology at the University of Calicut in Kozhikode in the Indian state of Kerala. The focus of his scientific work was the taxonomy of insects, especially of the parasitic Hymenoptera. He was discoverer and describer of 1,043 insect species.
