T. J. Brodie

TJ Brodie ( born June 7, 1990 in Chatham, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team in Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Career

TJ Brodie began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he was active for the Saginaw Spirit and Barrie Colts from 2006 to 2010. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 in the fourth round as a total of 114 players from the Calgary Flames. For Calgary, he was in the 2010/11 season his debut in the National Hockey League, where he remained no points in three games. He spent the rest of the season with Calgary's farm team in Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. There he was able to convince and participated in the AHL All-Star Classic. In the 2011/12 season he was indeed still in some games for Abbotsford in the AHL for use, however, the Canadians could earn a place in the NHL team the Calgary Flames.
