T. J. Hensick

Timothy James " T. J. " Hensick ( born December 10, 1985 in Howell, Michigan ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 at the MODO Hockey Hockey Svenska from the ligand under contract.

Career

TJ Hensick began his career in the youth team of the American Hockey Association USA Hockey, for whom he played from 2001 to 2003 in the North American Hockey League. In the years 2003-2007 Hensick played for the hockey team, the University of Michigan in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. During the NHL Entry Draft in 2005, the attacker was selected in the third round than a total of 88 players from the Colorado Avalanche. After he was active for two more years for the University of Michigan, he was in the summer of 2007 in the cadre of the Avalanche and their farm team of the American Hockey League, which included Lake Erie Monsters. In his first season in the National Hockey League, the center scored eleven points scorer in 31 games, including six goals. For the Lake Erie Monsters he reached 45 points scorer, including twelve goals in 50 games.

Between 2010 and 2013 he was with the St. Louis Blues under contract, but mainly played for the Peoria Rivermen in the AHL. In 2013, he opted for a first commitment to Europe and signed a contract with MODO Hockey from the Svenska Hockey ligands.
