T. R. Schellenberg

Theodore R. Schellenberg (* 1903, † 1970) was an American scientist archive.

Life

Schellenberg was from Kansas, studied history there and entered the mid-1930s a position at the newly opened National Archives in Washington, where he was Head of the Department of Agriculture authorities among others. After World War II he headed the administration of the National Archives and dealt with matters archive management and the archival education and training. In 1954, he supported the development of archives in Australia. He published several works on issues of records management and the archival rating.
