T. S. Monk

Thelonious Sphere " T. S. " Monk, Jr. ( * December 27, 1949 in New York City, New York ) is an American jazz drummer, percussionist and composer of the post- bop.

Monk made ​​his stage debut at age ten in his father's Thelonious Monk the page. After he worked for a time his career outside of jazz, Monk founded in the 1980s, its own formation, in which he also acted as a singer. The resulting 1980 debut album, House of Music included some hits that were successful in the R & B charts, as Bon Bon Vie ( Gimme the Good Life ) or Candidate for Love.
