T. Thomas Fortune House

The Timothy Thomas Fortune House (also known as T. Thomas Fortune House, The Bergen House or Maple Hall ) is a historic home in Red Bank, Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, in the United States. It is at number 94 on the western mountains Place.

The house was the residence of the born as a slave journalists Timothy Thomas Fortune. He used to act as editor of three newspapers the ability to corrupt politicians, slavery and the oppression of women's rights. He brought it during the course of his career to more than 20 books and over 300 self-written editorials of its newspapers. He lived here from 1901 until 1915.

The Victorian building was completed in 1901, and a historical relevance, as specific years mentioned in 1901 and 1915 had, according to the National Register of Historic Places 1900 to 1924.

The T. Thomas Fortune House was taken on December 8, 1976 by the National Register of Historic Places under the number 76,001,171 as a historical monument. In addition, there was an entry in the National Historic Landmark.
