T.N.T. is the second album by the Australian hard rock band AC / DC. It was published in December 1975 exclusively in Australia on Albert Productions ( EMI). The following year, but seven songs of the LP together with two titles of the Australian debut album, High Voltage, which was also released only in Australia in early 1975, as a compilation was released internationally on Atco Records (Atlantic ). Background

The songs of T.N.T. are still heavily influenced by the blues and typical rock 'n ' roll of the 1950s as that of the previous album and debut High Voltage. Produced by Harry Vanda the LP and George Young. Lyrics and music for seven of the nine tracks are from Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott. Can I Sit Next to You Girl was written by the brothers Young and is a remake of AC / DC 's first single two years earlier, on the still Dave Evans had sung the lead vocals, School Days is a song by Chuck Berry, and thus a cover.

In 1994 T.N.T. as a CD with two deviations from the original 1975 feature. The title includes rockers originally abruptly to the height of the guitar riffs, while it is hidden on the CD before. High Voltage was the original seamlessly into the next song School Days. The CD appears High Voltage but previously and thereby separates the two titles. T.N.T. is the only album the group, which was never officially released internationally, but is still partly also offered outside Australia.

The title of High Voltage was released in Australia in 1975 as a single and reached there, the top 10 of the charts. The B-side was Soul Stripper from the first AC / DC album. The second single was T.N.T. coupled with the B-side rocker. It's a Long Way to the Top ( If You Wanna Rock ' n' Roll) b / w Can I Sit Next to You Girl was the third and final single from the album is also a hit in Australia. As a re-release on Atlantic, the two singles High Voltage managed and It's a Long Way to the Top ( If You Wanna Rock ' n' Roll) at the same time in June 1980, the top 75 in the UK.
