Tabbouleh

Tabbouleh (Arabic تبولة ) is a salad of Lebanese cuisine. It is served as an appetizer or snack, sometimes it comes as a side dish on the table and can also be offered as a main course. In German-speaking countries it is called bulgur salad. The Turkish version is called Kısır ( Kisir ).

Tabbouleh is made of parsley and bulgur wheat (or couscous ) and tomatoes, onions or shallots, olive oil, a little water and lemon juice. The seasoning Tabbouleh with mint, salt and pepper.
