Tadami Line

The Tadami Line (Japanese只见 线, Tadami- sen) is a Japanese railway line, which in the Fukushima prefecture and Koide runs between the stations of Aizu Wakamatsu in Niigata Prefecture and by the East Japan Railway Company ( JR East ) is operated. The line was opened in 1942, is single track and not electrified. The name comes from the river Tadami -Line Tadami- Gawa, which flows parallel to the railway line. Tourist interest is the Aizu - oncogene Plateau, a national park with hot springs, which can be reached via the station Tadami.
