Tadashi Nakamura (martial artist)

Tadashi Nakamura (Japanese中 村 忠, Tadashi Nakamura, born February 22, 1942 in Maoka, Karafuto Prefecture), is a Japanese martial arts expert (9th Dan ).

He started in 1953 with the study of Karate in the style of Kyokushin Kenji Kurosaki and under Ōyama Masutatsu. In 1966 he successfully contested a 100 -man fight ( Hyakunin - kumite ) and was Chairman of the Kyokushinkai organization in the United States.

Nakamura, exponent of Kobudo and founder of Seido Karate, now teaches in Seido Juku - in New York City, USA. His students include Nobuyuki Kishi (Japan), Renzie Hanham Ron (New Zealand) and William Oliver (USA). As Chairman Director, he leads the Word which he founded in 1976 Seido Karate Organization ( WSKO ). As an author he wrote Karate Technique and Spirit.
