Tadeusz Nalepa

Tadeusz Nalepa ( born August 26, 1943 in Zgłobień; † March 4, 2007 in Warsaw) was a Polish guitarist, composer and singer.

Nalepa finished the music school of Rzeszów in the classes for violin, clarinet and double bass. Getting attention he found in a talent contest for young music talents in Stettin in 1963 together with singer Mira Kubasińska. With Mira Kubasińska he founded in 1965 the band Blackout, for Nalepa wrote the music to lyrics by the poet Bogdan Loebl. The breakthrough came Nalepa in 1968 with the newly formed blues-rock band Breakout, which also occurred with Mira Kubasińska as a singer. The band existed until 1983 and took on 10 LPs. In 1983 he played mainly solo and performed with various other Polish bands. He also composed the music for two feature films.

In 2003 he received the Order of Polonia Restituta.
