Taebla Parish

Taebla ( German: Taibel ) is a rural municipality in the Estonian Lääne with an area of 141 km ². It has 2 739 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2006).

Taebla located 14 km from Haapsalu 86 km from Tallinn.

The pristine landscapes of forests, bogs and springs are of interest for nature tourists. Particularly worth seeing is the former home of the National Romantic painter Laikmaa Ants (1866-1942), which today serves as a museum about his life and work in Kadarpiku.
