The Taft is a 11.7 km long, orographic left tributary of Ulster in the Soisberger Kuppenrhön in the north of the Hessian Rhön, which rises on the eastern slope of Lichtenberg in the Hessian skittles on the boundary pus field ( district Fulda) and there is almost complete until he flows on the boundary Butt Lars in the Thuringian Wartburg district.
