Tagansky District

Tagansky (Russian Таганский ) is a district of Moscow ( Russia).

He belongs to the Central Administrative District of the city. Its name comes from the settlement Taganskaya sloboda, in the predominantly coppersmiths lived in the 16th century.

The district has an area of 7.9 km2 and 109.4 thousand inhabitants.
