Tagkawayan, Quezon

Tagkawayan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 50 833 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 45 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

Tagkawayan located at the head of the Gulf of Ragay, at the coast are smaller mangrove forests. Your neighboring municipalities are Guinayangan in the West, Calauag in the northwest, north and Labo Del Gallego in the east. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes.

A regular rail link between Manila and Tagkawayan, it is operated by the Philippine National Railways.
