Tagolsheim

Tagolsheim is a commune with 718 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ), in the Alsace Haut -Rhin. It belongs to the district Altkirch, Altkirch the canton and the existing community association since 2001 Secteur d' illfurth.

Geography

The municipality is located in Tagolsheim Sundgau, south of Mulhouse and northeast of Altkirch in the valley of the River Ill. Tagolsheim has a station on the railway line Paris -Mulhouse, at that keep trains of TER TER Alsace and Franche -Comté.

Neighboring communities of Tagolsheim are illfurth in the north, Luemschwiller in the east, Walheim in the south, southwest, and Heidwiller Unteraspach in the west.

History

Previously the village square at the Ill. During a soil research was there were fallen trees that had grown into the ground, found. Among them was a lime tree.
