Taio Cruz

Taio Cruz (actually Jacob Taio Cruz, according to many sources Adetayo Ayowale Cruz Onile - Ere, born April 23, 1982 in London, England ) is a British R & B singer and songwriter of Nigerian and Brazilian descent. To date, he has released three studio albums.

Music career

The song Your Game, the Cruz has written for Will Young, multi-platinum and won the 2005 Brit Award for Best British Single. In 2006, he released his debut single I Just Wanna Know.

Taio Cruz maintains as the founder of the record label Rokstarr Music London, joint venture partnership with the music companies, Republic Records and Iceland Records UK.

Departure (2006-2008)

Taio Cruz released his second single Moving On in September 2007, which reached the Top 30 in the UK. His album Departure was released in the UK on 18 March 2008. The album went gold in the UK with over 100,000 units sold. Come On Girl was the next single from the album and reached number 5 in the UK charts. The songs I Can Be and She's Like a Star were also released as singles.

Rokstarr and International breakthrough (2009-2010)

His album Rokstarr released on October 12. The first single, Break Your Heart, reached number one in the United Kingdom and the United States. The single was published with and in the UK without Ludacris. Dirty Picture, a collaboration with the U.S. singer Ke $ ha, reached the Top 10 in the UK. Then he released the title No Other One. The fourth single from the album (in the U.S. as the second ), Dynamite was released. Dynamite reached number 1 in the UK and number two in the U.S.. The fifth and final single from the album was called Higher. This he sang along with Kylie Minogue and Travie McCoy in the U.S..

Studio Album: TY.O

On December 2, 2011 his third album TY.O appeared via Universal Music. Even before the album's release in Germany appeared the single Hangover, which was after two weeks already sold over 200,000 copies and received a gold disc. The second single is called Trouble Maker, which he presented in the German talent show The Voice of Germany on 27 January. On March 25, 2012 Taio Cruz released the third single There She Goes, which he recorded together with the rapper Pitbull. The album also is the single Little Bad Girl, in 2011 he along with Ludacris and David Guetta worked to find. In July 2012, he released the song World in Our Hands as a single. It was used by ZDF as Olympic Song 2012 and already rose before publishing it on CD in the German charts.

As a Londoner, he received the honor alongside other at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics practice before millions of television viewers. He sang his song Dynamite.

Fast Car is the second single in the U.S. from the album TY.O. Fast Car was specially written for publication in the United States, but could also be placed in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Officially, the single is on 14th August 2012 at the U.S. Department of Commerce. The single was released in the UK on December 24.

In the U.S. and in the UK the album TY.O was not published until the end of 2012. There it appeared with the new song Fast Car as an EP entitled The Fast Hits, on which only the most successful songs of the album, and remixed versions can be found old title.
