Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League
The Democratic Self -government League Taiwan (Chinese台湾 民主 自治 同盟/台湾 民主 自治 同盟, Pinyin Táiwān Mínzhǔ Zizhi Tongmeng ) is one of the eight officially licensed smaller parties, the People's Republic of China. She is a member of the Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese people ( CPPCC ). The party can not act as opposition to the government: Democratic parties are neither non- ruling nor the opposition parties, but contributing to the government parties.
After presentation of Radio International China ( PRC ), the approximately 1800 members of the League, especially from " prominent former residents of Taiwan " put together, now living on the Chinese mainland. As the official leadership of the People 's Republic of China is also the Democratic Self-government League of Taiwan for the Taiwan connection and thus the Republic of China to the People's Republic of China.
