Takata (Fukuoka)

Takata (Japanese高田 町, machi ) was a town in Miike -gun in Fukuoka prefecture in Japan, which was incorporated on 29 January 2007 with the cities of Yamakawa and Setaka under the name Miyama to a city.

In 2003, Takata had an estimated population of 14,525 people in an area of 41.01 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 354.18 inhabitants per km ².
