Takayuki Ono

Takayuki Ono (Japanese尾 野 贵 之, Takayuki Ono, born February 11, 1983 in Tomakomai, Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese hockey player who is under contract with Japanese club Nikko Ice Bucks of the Asia League Ice Hockey since June 2011.

Career

Takayuki Ono began his career as a hockey player in his Japanese homeland at the Nikko Ice Bucks, for which he was active from 2005 to 2009 in the Asia League Ice Hockey. Then the defender moved to the South Korean league rivals Anyang Halla, with which he first won the championship of the Asia League in the season 2009/10. This success was the right shooter with four gates and twelve templates in in 45 games. In the 2010/11 season, which ended prematurely due to the Tōhoku earthquake, he won with his team again the champion of the Asia League Ice Hockey. He also came to three inserts in the South Korean Championships. In June 2011, he agreed to a contract for one season with Nikko Ice Bucks, where Ono had begun his professional career.
