Takeda Nobukado

Takeda Nobukado (Japanese武 田信廉; * 1529, † 1582 ) was one of Takeda Shingen's brothers. He was also one of the 24 generals who fought for Shingen. His official rank was (刑部 少 辅) which corresponds to a Gyōbushō, the then Justitzminister. He was a samurai of the Takeda ( Klan ).

Person

He was said to be a good leader of the cavalry and also has created several works as a painter, some of which survive to this day. Thus, a collection of his drawings is preserved, for example in Chozen -ji ( Kofu ).

History

After his brother and Sengoku Daimyo Shingen 's death, he was the son of Takeda Katsuyori, the new daimyo Takeda, as a consultant to the side and still led troops for the Takeda. It has the force in the midfield in the Battle of Nagashino. In this great defeat, which meant the end of Takeda, although arrived at many of the 24 generals, but he fled from the battlefield. Nevertheless, he was taken prisoner but of Oda Nobunaga and Takeda beheaded like many other supporters. His grave is located in the shojo - in (逍遥 院) in Kofu.
