Takeda Yoshinobu

Takeda Yoshinobu (Japanese武田 义 信; * 1538, † November 19, 1567 ) was a Japanese daimyo of the Sengoku period.

Life

He was named Takeda taro (武田 太郎) of the first-born son of Takeda Shingen and his wife Sanjō. When he came of age in 1550, he took the name Yoshinobu, where he formally and solemnly the part Yoshi had traveled from 13th Ashikaga shogun, Ashikaga Yoshiteru received at his ordination as adult anticipated heirs of Takeda. In 1552 he married the daughter of Imagawa Yoshimoto (sister of Imagawa Ujizane ); both heads of the Imagawa ) to improve relations with the Imagawa. Initially he served as a troop leader his father Takeda Shingen and the Takeda clan,

1553 he took under the command of his uncle Takeda Nobushige in the province of Shinano, the castle Katsurao the neighboring Murakami clan under Murakami Yoshikiyo a; . He also took part in the 4th Battle of Kawanakajima; rebelled, however, was captured and imprisoned along with Obu Toramasa. His nephew, Takeda Nobukatsu, son of his half-brother Katsuyori, was then recognized as the heir of Takeda Shingen. As Katsuyori was head of the house, he set the captive Yoshinobu finally remained under pressure and drove him to be the expiation for his rebellion to suicide.
