Takeo (Khmer: តាកែវ ) is the capital of the province of Takeo. The Takeo province is located in the southern region of Cambodia. The city had 1998 39.186 inhabitants in the year.

Geography

The city is surrounded by extensive rice fields that are crossed by hundreds of channels.
