Takhli District

Amphoe Thakli ( Thai: อำเภอ ตาคลี ) is the southernmost district ( Amphoe ) of Nakhon Sawan. The Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Phayuha Khiri and the Tak Fa of the province of Nakhon Sawan, Amphoe Nong Muang and the Ban Mi Lopburi Province, Amphoe In Buri Province Singburi and Amphoe Sapphaya, Mueang Chainat Chainat province and Manorom.

History

The place Chansen was already inhabited in prehistoric times, as excavations show.

Management

Amphoe Thakli is ( tambon) divided into eleven municipalities, which in turn in 128 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Thakli even has a town status ( thesaban Mueang ) and consists of parts of the tambon Thakli.

Chong Khae is a small town ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the tambon Chong Khae and Phrom Nimit.

There are also ten administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
