Taklung Thangpa Tashi Pal

Taglung Thangpa Trashi Pel ( Tib: stag ment thang pa bkra shis dpal; * 1142, † 1210) was the founder of the monastery Taglung ( stag or stag ment ment dgon chen thang ) in Lhünzhub (1180 ) and thus the founder of Taglung - Kagyu school of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism tradition, one of the so-called " eight small schools." He was a student of Phagmo Drupa Dorje Gyelpo (1110-1170), one of the main disciples of Gampopa ( 1079-1153 ).
