Talange
Talange ( German Talingen, Lorraine through gorges ) is a commune in the 7508 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Metz- Campagne and Canton Maizières- lès- Metz.
Geography
Talange located a few kilometers north of Metz, on the Moselle River at an altitude 154-184 m above sea level, the average height is 159 m. The municipal area covers 3.7 km ².
History
The town was first mentioned as 960 Tatolinga.
Talange was on the German side of the former German - French language border.
