Talent show

Basics

Part of casting shows is that participants show off their skills to a jury. When singing competitions like pop stars or Germany sucht den Superstar hold the responsible TV production companies mass auditions, where regularly attended several thousand candidates in the past.

The jury increasing due to the performance shown prior to the selection of candidates in another round of the show ( Recall) have to present something again. In this way, the number of participants is reduced until a participant field is compiled from which the winner is determined. From this point decides no longer the jury, which suitor comes in the next round, but choose the viewers via phone ( televoting ) their favorites. The judges give only even from their professional opinion on the contribution of each participant.
