Taliesin West

The Taliesin West is a residential house and studio of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who had designed it themselves. It was completed in 1937 and is located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It serves as winter quarters to the located in Spring Green, Wisconsin Taliesin. Wright and members of the Association regularly alternated between the two houses. This relocation allowed Wright to experience his home always in a new perspective.

The Taliesin West was awarded in 1973 as the Twenty -five Year Award from the American Institute of Architects awarded. Recognized the Taliesin West as a National Historic Landmark on May 20, 1982.
