Talisay (Batangas)

Talisay is a Philippine municipality in the province of Batangas.

Geography

Talisay is located in the southwest of the island of Luzon in the north of Batangas province about 84 kilometers south of Metro Manila. The territory of the municipality adjacent to Tagaytay City in the north, to Laurel in the West, Tanauan City to the east and to the Taal Lake in the South.

Barangays

Talisay is politically subdivided into 21 barangays. The municipality is composed of 8 barangays which make up the main town and 13 surrounding barangays. From Tanauan City on the National Highway from the east takes you through the barangays Aya, Tranca, Quilling and Tumaway. To the west of the main town are the barangays of San Guillermo, Banga, Buco, Sta. Mary, Sampaloc, Caloocan, Balas, Leynes and Mirando.
