TAMA 300

TAMA 300 is a gravitational wave detector at Mitaka campus of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.

It is equipped with an interferometric detection, particularly a Fabry -Perot interferometer.

The project has been put into operation in the 1990s and was the precursor of much larger systems.
