Tama Art University

The Academy Tama (Japanese多 摩 美术 大学, Tama bijutsu daigaku, in short. Tamabi (多 摩 美), English Tama Art University ) in Tokyo with two campuses in Kaminoge ( Setagaya ) and Hachioji in 1935 as Imperial Art Academy Tama (多 摩 帝国 美术 学校, Tama teikoku bijutsu Gakko ) founded as a spin-off of the Imperial Academy of Arts (now the Musashino Art College ). The Tama Art College is a private university. She is internationally known as one of the leading art schools in Japan.

Also part of the university library and the Tama Art University Museum.
