Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a theme park in the southeast of Jakarta near Kampung Rambutan, Indonesia. The 100 -acre park, the scale realism before traditional houses from all over Indonesia.

The idea for the park was designed in 1971 by Madame Tien Soeharto and 1975 the park was opened. For the construction of many families were forced to leave their country.

In the traditional houses are, inter alia, traditional household items, crafts and clothing on display. Further, there are museums, Thester, restaurants and gondola, with which one can float in a circle around the park. Especially on Sundays traditional dance performances and craft demonstrations are seen. The park is divided by Indonesian regions.

Next here are also the most modern museums of energy, natural science and technology. Of interest is the local multi-vision show " Indonesia ". Even a modern theater was inaugurated there in 1997.
