Tamara Ehlert
Tamara Ehlert ( born December 28, 1921 in Königsberg / East Prussia, † September 8, 2008 in Munich) was a German poet and storyteller.
Life
After graduating from high school at the Bismarck - Oberlyzeum in Königsberg she studied acting and dance training. From 1941 she worked in the war as a telephone and a radio operator. After the war she was employed by the British military government as an interpreter. As early as 1938 were the first publications appeared in "King Tageblatt ". Beginning in 1945, many of her short stories and lyrical poems in newspapers and magazines (eg from 1948 in the " Hannover press " ) were printed. From 1951, she was also assistant in the Bayerischer Rundfunk.
Her work So the spring was in my town was translated into Russian by Apollinarija Sulewa and published 1993 in 1946 renamed hometown of Ehlert as a bilingual band ( German - Russian). In addition, published poetry and prose in over 60 anthologies, for example, in German voices, distant far country, Ostpreußische love stories and other short stories in anthologies of Rowohlt Verlag.
Awards
