Tambo Colorado

Tambo Colorado, aka Puka Tampu, Pucallacta or Pucahuasi, is a former Inca settlement ( around 1450 AD) in present-day South American country of Peru in the province of Pisco. The well-preserved ruins located on the right bank of the " Pisco River Valley " and was built on a hill. Although it is a small site, among the remains of Tambo Colorado to the best all of Peru. As with the Incas, the mud-brick buildings are usually mostly red and yellow painted and designed with many trapezoidal shapes.
