Tambon Tha Sawang
Tambon Tha Sawang ( Thai: ตำบล ท่า สว่าง ) is a commune ( tambon) of the district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) Mueang Surin. Surin is the capital of the province of Surin, it is located in the northeast of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Neighboring communities of Tha Sawang are (from north clockwise): Na Di, Kae Yai, Mueang Nok Kho Kho and of the district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Surin Province Surin and Nong Teng, Chumsaeng and Lamduan the circle Krasang the province of Buriram.
Economy
The main industry of the municipality Tha Sawang is agriculture, mainly rice and vegetables are grown. Another source of income is the production of high quality silk fabrics. Silk and brocades were at the APEC summit in 2003 in Bangkok, the "official souvenir ".
Management
The municipality Tha Sawang is a " Tambon Administrative Organization" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Administrative organization ) managed. It is divided into 20 villages ( Muban ).
