Ditammari (also: Ditamari, tamari, Somba, Soma, Handsome, Tamberma ) is the language of the people of the same name Ditammari.

They live mainly in Togo and Benin.

The number of speakers is approximately 47,500 (SIL 2002). In Togo, about 27,500 (SIL 2002) live Ditammari spokesman. In Benin there are approximately 20,000 (SIL 2002).

In Togo, the Ditammari - speakers live mostly in the Kara region, in the prefecture Kandé east of Kanté on the border with Benin. The main towns in Togo, where Ditammari is spoken are Nadoba, Wantema, Warengo and Koutougou.

In Benin the Ditammari - speakers live mostly in the Atakora Province in the subprefectures Boukombe and Natitingou. Ditammari belongs to the Gur languages.
