Tampa Bay Mutiny
Tampa Bay Mutiny was an American football franchise from Tampa ( Florida). The team played between 1996 and 2001 in the Major League Soccer ( MLS).
History
In the first season of the MLS, the Mutiny was the point best team, but failed in the semifinals at the eventual champions DC United. 1997, 1999 and 2000, the club also reached the playoffs, but different in each case already in the quarter- finals. The 2001 season ended the team with the worst record this season from the MLS history. For financial reasons, withdrew from the league.
From 1996 to 1998 they played at Houlihan 's Stadium, in 1999 he transferred to the Raymond James Stadium.
