Tancheng County

Tancheng (Chinese郯城县) is a county in east China's Shandong Province. He belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Linyi. Tancheng has an area of ​​1307 km ² and has 970,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Tancheng (郯城 镇).

The site of the ancient capital of the state Tan ( Tanguo Gucheng (郯 国 故城) ) is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-119 ).
