Tangstedt

Tangstedt ( Low German Tangsteed ) is a municipality in Schleswig-Holstein Stormarn. It lies on the northern outskirts of Hamburg, close to the east of the city of Norderstedt. Today the community consists of the villages Tangstedt Tangstedt, Wilstedt, Wilstedt settlement, Ehlersberg, Rade, Wiemerskamp and Wulksfelde. Chance of it is confused with the same name in the district of Pinneberg, which is only 16 km west of Norderstedt.

History

Grave hill in the municipality indicate a prehistoric settlement. The place Tangstedt was first mentioned in documents in 1309, the district Wilstedt was already mentioned in 1292.

In 1970 the Office Tangstedt with the official member municipalities Tangstedt, Wilstedt and Wulksfelde was merged into a new greater community. On 1 January 2008 Tangstedt gave up his office freedom and joined the Office Itzstedt ( Segeberg ) at.

Good Tangstedt

1475 Tangstedt was sold to Duke Johann of Saxe- Lauenburg and thus belonged to the Official Tremsbuttel. The Good Tremsbuttel it passed in 1571 into the possession of the Dukes of Holstein- Gottorp, who later acquired the property and handed over as a fief to Friedrich von Ahlefeld several years. Good Wulksfelde
