Tanzania Football Federation
The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF; Swahili Shirikisho la Mpira Miguu wa Tanzania ) is the governing body of football in the East African state of Tanzania. The association operates the national leagues and sends the Tanzanian national football teams. He is a member of FIFA and the Confederation of African Football ( CAF) since 1964.
The TFF operates since January 2008, the Tanzania Soccer Academy (TSA ) as a national institution for the promotion of football in the country.
History
The association was under the name " Tanganyika Football Association (TFA ) " was founded in 1930 and 1971 in " Football Association of Tanzania ( FAT) " renamed before it got its present name in 2004.
