Tap Khlo District

Amphoe Tap Khol ( Thai: อำเภอ ทับ คล้อ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southeastern province of Phichit. The Phichit Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Dong Charoen the Bang Mun Nak, Taphan Hin and Wang Sai Phun province of Phichit, Phitsanulok Noen Maprang the province, and Wang Pong and Chon Daen Phetchabun province.

History

Tap Khol was on 15 July 1996, first as sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established, consisting of four Tambon, which were cleaved from the district Bang Mun Nak. On August 13, 1987 Tap Khol received the full Amphoe status.

Management

The circle is divided into four subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 57 villages ( Muban ).

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Thap Khlo ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ทับ คล้อ ), consisting of parts of the tambon same name,
  • Sai Khao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เขา ทราย ), consisting also of parts of the tambon same name.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
