Tapered pin

A tapered pin is called a conical pin that is used as a connecting element in mechanical engineering. Injecting into a tapered bore creates power circuit, which can be released again.

The taper pin received in Germany on March 1, 1918 from the Standards Committee of German Industry (now the German Institute for Standardization ) is the first award DIN standard, the DIN 1 This standard was withdrawn in 1992 and replaced by the European Standard EN 22339.

Taper pins are Normteilart pins. According to the standard DIN 1 is a tapered pin, the taper ratio or on adjacent figure (Fig. 2) based.
