Tapolca

Tapolca [ tɒpoltsɒ ] ( German: Toppoltz ) is a Hungarian town with nearly 16,000 inhabitants ( 2011) north of Lake Balaton ( Balaton ). From the 10th century Tapolca part of Hungary. After the Second World War, the city developed into an industrial center of the region. Different minerals have been and are mined in the area.
