Tar-Vabriga

Tar -Vabriga (Italian Torre- Abrega ) is a village in the Istria County, Croatia. The community has 2011 1.990 inhabitants according to the census. Tar -Vabriga established in 2006 by the separation of the town of Poreč. Sights are the churches Sveta Sveta Martina and Mihovila XVIII.

Tar is only six and five kilometers from the famous tourist centers Poreč and Novigrad. The municipality consists of the six settlements ( Croat / ital. . ): Frata / Fratta, Gedici / Ghedda, Perci / Perzi, Rosini / Villa Rossa or Rossini, Tar / Torre and Vabriga / Abrega.

The original two villages, Tar and Vabriga are today, by the main road connecting Poreč - shared Novigrad place. It is a fertile plateau at an altitude of 112 m above sea level, sloping down to the sea on one side, and on the other side in the direction of Mirna river mouth.
